| For the third consecutive year, Aloha Street has produced the Big Island Visitors Bureau's "Discover Big Island." The latest issue "Discover Big Island 2007" was completed in midOctober 2006, with double the number of participants from last year. The publication promotes the Big Island to travel agents and consumers at Hawaii-themed events held in Japan. In addition, the 2005 edition of "Discover Big Island" won the Hawaii Publishers Association's prestigious Pa'i Award for the quality of its design and editorials. The 2007 issue is another complete guide of the island including hotels, resorts, golf courses, activities, shops/goods, and detailed maps.
Also, due to the increased requests from businesses and increased number of Japanese visitors to the Big Island (among all islands, it experienced the highest percentage of growth in double digits in 2005 and 2006), Wincubic has decided to launch an Aloha Street Big Island Edition commencing in spring 2007. Space will be closed by early February, with the new magazine published in midApril.
